In the region of Lazio, located in the province of Frosinone is the town of Anagni. Anagni was a seat of temples and churches for many centuries, and recent excavations have revealed it to be important with regards to culture and economics too. It is believed that the Hernici and Etruscans did business there, and later, many Roman Emperors spent summers in Anagni to get away from the Rome heat.
